Fun on the farm

A little late, but we have finally posted our pictures from our Nov. '05 visit to the Reed family farm, with our host, dear friend and God Mother - Mary Tripp Reed. Uncle Scott was with us & we had a great visit! Lately, Jack has been asking to go to Mary Tripps for dinner, we're pretty sure he's not aware of the 5 hour drive to Murray/Mayfield :-).

The Quinn Brothers Rock!!

Lets just get this out of the way right up front: My Kids Rock! Yet another little camera clip. We have many of these, but this one is a stand-out, because of the way Wils spontaneously breaks into a classic Rock intro. Wilz' Haz Skilz ... (I need to get some video of him playing the "Go Go beat" Dave taught him). OK, I'll admit they're not quite there yet, but do you see the potential? They've come up with great band names over the years, here are a few:
  • Butt Ox
  • Vampower M
  • Disco Rocks
  • Baby Elvis & The White Handsomes
  • Metal Pulp
  • Bloody Wormz
Any votes for best band name? No contest if you ask me :-)

Jack's Rock Opera, fit for a Queen ...

Another great video captured on our little point & shoot camera. We'd been playing a lot of queen at the house, you could say we had been going through a Queen phase. Jack really took a liking to the classic Queen tunes. Once when Michelle was out, we even had a secret viewing of "Wayne's World", Michelle came home, and caught us red-handed:

Michelle: "No ... please tell me you're not letting the boys watch Wayne's World on a school night!"

.... awkward silence ...

Jack: "Esqueeze Me?"

Here is Jack, caught in the act, rocking out with much feeling, to his own little Bohemian Rhapsody.
Disclaimer: If Michelle was a president, she'd be Baberaham Lincoln.
Here is the official link on google video.

When I was 5 (Jack's Birthday)

Jack turned 5 on December 18th 2005. I remember turning 5. I remember being happy that everyone came to my party, then being happy when everyone left. Then walking - by myself - out side & up the street to steal this kid's tin cans. He hooked the cans to his feet when he walked, they would clank as they hugged his shoes. And thats all I wanted for my birthday. I wanted his cans (not my own set). So - I stole them, on my 5th birthday. Later - I buried them.
Seems like it's a popular age to sing about. Do you remember being 5? Leave a comment!

Giant Toast Goes Live!!

Some times Wils will sneak off with our camera and make these little videos. They are 30 seconds max. It amazes me, lots of "cleverness" crammed into one of these. It's always a surprise when I notice the camera is "full" and discover videos from Wils. This is a milestone for us, because we've figured out how to embed videos that we uploaded to video.google.com I'm sure we'll be putting more videos soon. So, check back here often. Also - please leave us a comment - let us know what you think!
