Got Silt?
| Friends and Fams: boy, was there a flood. The water was about 4 feet deep, but gave us a rare opportunity to float thru the backyard. When life gives you lemons, you make lemonade, then you float in it. Yuk. The very same water was all gone on by sunrise Sunday monrning. We were lucky - no damage to speak of. There was serious damage all over the region. Our hearts go out to the families who suffered tragic loss of loved ones in the flood waters. Truly sad. | |

How deep was it?
Memories... What a fun perk to have a backyard that occasionally becomes a pond. Its a good thing the raft and trusty oar were on hand. The narrator was captivating, but the most enjoyable sounds were the boys singing together as their Dad paddled through the yard.
Did the dogs get a swim in that day?
